"The Rape of Harriet Tubman"

Personally, I've always been most interested in issues of race and peoples of the 20th century. As such, though I know a bit about Harriet Tubman, and respect her greatly, I don't know that much about her. And this article sparked in me a desire to know more.

It's not necessarily even about Harriet Tubman so much as it is an assessment of how people and history are discussed. But I think it makes several helpful points about rape culture and historical claims.
